Its difficult to think of much that says Seattle quite like the Space Needle, so that seemed like a natural first stop, and watching the sun set over the Olympic Mountains to the Northwest and Mt. Rainier to the Southwest is quite a sight. It was interesting to notice all the large picture windows in the hillside houses of Seattle catching the setting sun's rays and glowing in the darkening hillside like embers in a fire.
